Message From The Founder
I became a nurse because I wanted to be there for people in their most vulnerable moments, a time when care and compassion matter most. That part of me hasn’t changed.
But along the way, I learned that caring deeply for others should never come at the cost of caring for yourself.
Like many nurses, I gave everything to the job. My time, my energy and even my sense of self. I stayed quiet, pushed through the exhaustion, and called it resilience. Healing began the moment I finally understood that putting yourself first is not weakness. It’s essential to survival in healthcare.
Now, through Nurses Forum, I use my voice to uplift those who still feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed. This space is here for you. Whether you are thriving, just getting through the day, or somewhere in between, we are here to support you.

Our Core Values
We value emotional wellbeing, safety, connection, lived experience, and the power of peer support to create meaningful change for nurses.
We are grounded in honesty, transparency, and lived experience.
What we do is real, and so are the
stories behind it.
Our Story
Nurses Forum was founded on a simple but powerful belief: nurses deserve to be seen, heard, and supported not just during the shift, but well beyond it.
We created this platform to be a space where your voice is valued, your wellbeing is prioritised, and your experiences matter. Whether you're advocating for change, seeking community, or simply needing a moment to breathe, you belong here.
Because you care for others every day. It's time someone cared for you.
You are allowed to speak up. To set boundaries. To protect your peace.
Building a supportive community for nurses across Australia.

Speak up. Set boundaries. Ask for help. Don’t ignore the signs. Emotional exhaustion, resentment, dread those are not just “part of the job.” That is your mind and body asking for care and we are here to support you.
If you’ve ever felt broken, ignored, overwhelmed, or unseen in your role as a nurse this space is for you. Whether you're still working, on leave, or have walked away from the profession, your story matters.
It takes strength to keep going, or to walk away. Wherever your journey takes you, the Nurses Forum community stands with you.
