Debrief Room
About
The Debrief Room
As nurses, we give so much of ourselves. But many of us carry silent wounds — from our past, our shifts, our patients, even our colleagues. I know that pain, and I know what it’s like to feel like you have to keep going anyway.
This is a place to pause. To reflect. To be honest. To feel heard. A space where nurses can speak freely, debrief safely, and find strength in each other. Our wellbeing matters — and healing begins when we stop pretending we're okay. You are not alone. Your voice matters.
Whether you're processing a tough shift, navigating burnout, or celebrating a moment of connection with a patient — this is your place to be heard and understood. Please remember though that confidentiality of your workplace and patients is essential and you must remain private and respectful.
To maintain professional standards and comply with AHPRA’s Code of Conduct, do not include any identifying information about patients, colleagues, or workplaces. All reflections must remain respectful, private, and in line with professional and ethical obligations.
This is a space for support and reflection — not for clinical advice, patient care discussions, or crisis intervention. If you are in distress, please reach out to a professional support service:
